Barefoot Casting is casting a local television drama series set in present day Auckland that features a female character in her 20s who uses a wheelchair.
About the character
I am looking for a woman who can play a fully rounded character who is fearless, loving, crass, determined, arrogant, resourceful, intelligent and loyal. She also has a searching, free, K-Road kinda-vibe that sometimes spirals into self-destructive behaviour. She’s only human. Her favourite band is Wet Leg, her favourite food is foraged and her star sign is WTF. Sexual status – fluid and no-one’s business.
If you have a background in performance and/or simply feel you can relate to and could portray this character amazingly in the TV series, we look forward to hearing from you!
